fantastic area for city strolls and nearby parks to enjoy

during my stay, I loved that I could easily walk to the beautiful Arbutus Park just 2 km away for some fresh air, and the warm hospitality from the front desk made me feel right at home, especially when they offered my dog a treat while we explored the area around the hotel.

The location along the Fox River is beautiful. I enjoyed the modern feel of the hotel and the comfy King Guest Room with River View. The bed and pillows were excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Staff served me a complimentary Starbucks coffee at check-in, a good surprise after a long drive. I appreciated the outdoor areas and landscaping. These made for a pleasant atmosphere. I had a few issues. The front desk service was inconsistent. At check-in, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unorganized, leading to confusion about my reservation. The absence of complimentary coffee in the lobby was disappointing. I often enjoy starting my day with that convenience. While I loved the room comfort, the air conditioning caused some allergy issues, which affected my sleep. Despite those hiccups, I'd still recommend staying here for the scenic location and comfortable rooms.

Lovely base for discovering Appleton. Nicely decorated room & amazing bathroom. Good choice of facilities like: a microwave oven, coffee/tea making equipment and a writing desk. Spectacular location close to a park, and 5 minute walk from a family-friendly park. Very enjoyable overall experience.

The rooms with tubs and balcony, as example. Great breakfast with a lot of food options. Location adjacent to night life, a park, and the Bistro.

The courtyard exceeded my expectations! The king guest room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the friendly bistro staff, their service was fabulous. The access to the biking trail next to the river was a perfect way to start my mornings with some cardio workouts.

The air conditioning was spot on, and the room darkening shades made for some epic sleep sessions. Plus, the proximity to Tempest coffee house for breakfast is a game changer, serving some of the best organic java in town.

While checking in, the front desk clerk Isaac was so hyped up that it reminded me of he was in a whirlwind! He completely missed my reservation details and seemed too distracted to help.

Very clean room with friendly staff. Slow service at the bar during dinner.

We enjoyed our stay with easy access to Fox River Mall and Lawrence University, especially for the kids. The double queen room was spacious, giving us room to breathe, and the location by the river was a beautiful bonus.

My kids wished there were more options for breakfast.

The courtyard had a fantastic king guest room that was surprisingly spacious and comfy. The staff at the reception were always super friendly, and the fitness center had great cardio equipment. The hotel is also close to lawrence university.

The room size & comfort exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed by the cheerful demeanor of the reception and Bistro staff. The river view enhanced my experience as I enjoyed my coffee by the window.

The king guest room I stayed in had an amazing river view, and I loved that there was easy access to the biking trail alongside the water for my morning jog. The hotel also offered a nice courtyard area and a cozy lounge to relax in after a long day. One minor thing was that Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in my room, but overall it was a very pleasant stay! 😊
